Welcome to the Bay Area Sports Clinic - High School Sports Program (HSP)
HSP stands for the High School Sports Program
This is a program started by Drs. Marvin Lo, and Paul Abeyta as a community service, dedicated to providing the highest level of care for all high school athletes in the Bay Area.
Drs. Paul N. Abeyta and Marvin Y. Lo are both orthopaedic surgeons with subspecialty training in Sports Medicine. They have experience in the care of athletes at the high school, college, and professional levels.
Both have trained locally at UC Berkeley and UC San Francisco.
Dr. Abeyta has sports medicine subspecialty training with the SOAR Medical Group and Stanford University.
Dr. Lo completed his subspecialty training in sports at the University of Pittsburgh.
Combined, they have participated in the care of the SF 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Stanford collegiate teams, University of Pittsburgh Collegiate teams, the Professional Ballet, among numerous other local colleges and universities.
Currently Drs. Marvin Lo and Paul Abeyta take care of San Mateo High School, Hillsdale High School, and Mercy High School, among others in the bay area, peninsula area.
They have offices in San Francisco, Daly City and San Mateo and are on medical staff at: CPMC, Mills-Penninsula, and Seton hospitals.
